ANZAM 2014

Welcome to the website for the 28th Australian and New Zealand Academy of Management (ANZAM) Conference, hosted by the University of Technology, Sydney, from 3 -5 December 2014.

Following on from the successful Hobart Conference in 2013 – ‘Managing on the Edge’ –the Conference theme this year is Reshaping Management for Impact Globalisation, rapid technological advances, and generational shifts in values mean that today’s organisations are rife with ambiguity and tension.   How do we reshape organisations to cope with these challenges and still retain the capacity for having a positive impact on society?  To what extent are management and its many sub-disciplines being ‘reshaped’?   How do we reshape management discourse to achieve  impact?

The Conference presents the Academy as a community of practitioners, researchers and educators with the opportunity to revisit, reshape and reframe what it means to manage and to be managers in a time of rapid change that raises fundamental questions for our academic practice concerning the nature of managing and organising.

Please join us for the 2014 ANZAM Conference in Sydney, Australia.  Sydney is one of the most cosmopolitan, stylish and relaxed cities in the world. It is also one of the most multicultural cities.
